The rooms were modern and classy, with a touch of elegance, and the bathroom was beautiful. The shared areas were exquisite, and the little details in the rooms helped make the place special. I was here with a wedding party this weekend. First, thanks to the night porter who helped us when we were worse for wear on arrival. The breakfast staff were lovely to chat with, and among the friendliest, most professional and attentive I’ve come across. A wonderful place. I’ll be telling everyone how amazing our visit was xxxx

My wife Karen and I had lunch on 29/5/26. I had the seafood and she had the sea bass, and both were delicious with generous portions. We’ll definitely come again 😃

We had dinner here with friends a week or so ago, and it was exceptional from beginning to end. The setting and decor were fantastic, and the food was top class. The staff were excellent, friendly and professional throughout. I’d recommend the seared scallops as a starter. A real gem, well worth a visit. Five stars!

We were eight people, and the service was extremely poor. Most of our orders came out wrong, and the staff’s attitude felt quite unprofessional. The food we did get was decent quality, but didn’t really justify the price. When we left, nobody even said goodbye; they were all chatting behind the bar. After we’d spent more than £300 plus a 10% tip, they could at least have been professional. The whole experience was disappointing.

The restaurant food was great, with excellent portions and quality. Getting in with disabled access was a little awkward via the side door, and the lift wasn’t working. There were plenty of staff, but they seemed a bit disorganised. A few requests got lost between the three or four different servers, though they were accommodating and helpful.
