The location worked perfectly for walking the Beacons Way, and I’d happily come back. The room was roomy and clean, with a hot shower and a comfy bed. A lovely stay.

The family who own the place were so friendly and helpful, and the setting near a national park felt magical. We were there for my birthday, stayed one night, then went riding for two hours the next day. I only wish we’d had longer to stay for a few more days. If you’re looking for a few days in nature, maybe with some horse riding, this place is perfect ❤️❤️

The ponies felt safe and the staff were friendly. We spent about 2 hours and 45 minutes trekking: roughly 10 minutes on the road, about an hour on a bridle path, then another bridle path. The room was tidy, nicely presented, and had comfy beds. On the first day we went trekking for two hours. In the morning, we also took the dog for a five-minute walk to a beautiful park. Great location, and I’d definitely stay again. I’d 100% recommend it to any equestrian.

We had very little riding experience, but the staff were welcoming and reassuring, and let us practise in the paddock before setting off on our lovely two-hour pony trek. There’s a short stretch on the road at the start, but the ponies are so well trained that it wasn’t a problem. My daughter and I loved the beautiful countryside, and we’ll definitely return!
