The Point was a lovely place to live, with an excellent resident service team. My partner and I spent our first year in Aberdeen there, and Phil, Vishaal, Reuben, Jordan, and Brad were all kind, approachable, and incredibly helpful. Brad handled building maintenance, and the team also put on fun events. I'd give them five stars on their own. We loved our cosy studio. The space was used well, and its size never bothered us. The location was convenient, the view from our window was amazing, and the cleaning staff kept every part of the building immaculate. The flat stayed warm in winter, and having bills included in the rent was great. We barely needed to use the heating. If we hadn't bought our own place, we'd have happily stayed for years. I genuinely cried on moving day. The sad end to an otherwise perfect experience was dealing with Dandara Living, which is completely separate from the residence service team. They billed us for the whole month instead of adjusting the rent to our tenancy end date. After a month without a correction, I had to contact them myself to request a change and partial refund. I can only assume the overbilling was intentional, and that it could happen to others who don't catch it. We were also charged an unfair cleaning fee and told the furniture and fixtures were in much worse condition than at move-in, even though the photos from both inspections were identical. Check everything carefully, and be ready to push back if you don't want money taken unfairly. The move-out process was exhausting and heartbreaking. The Point itself is an amazing home with wonderful people, but stay vigilant when leaving and be prepared to argue.

I stayed there for about a year. The service was good, and the staff were really friendly.

It was a lovely place to live, and the resident service team were exceptional. Phil and the team were all kind and went out of their way to help. They also organised fun events in the building. I'd give the team five stars on its own. My big disappointment was the move-out process with Dandara Living, which is separate from the residence service team. It's been a month and a half since I moved out, and my security deposit still hasn't come back. I was first told it would take 28 days. When I called to follow up, they said it was with BACS and that I should wait.

Living here for nearly two years has been a fantastic experience. Everything I need is a short walk away, and the staff are friendly and ready to help, whatever the issue. The property stays spotless, and I really appreciate that maintenance is done regularly. There's a lot to enjoy in the facilities too: a well equipped gym, a comfortable work hub, a cosy TV room, secure bike parking, and handy laundry facilities. I absolutely love living here and would highly recommend it.
