The food came out quickly when my partner and I ate at the Wellington at about 6 pm on Wednesday (03/06/2026). Ordering and paying at the bar or table was simple enough, but after the meals arrived, we didn’t see a waiter or waitress again. Nobody checked whether the food was okay, and it wasn’t: my Yorkshire pudding was cold and the sausages were lukewarm. We looked around a couple of times, but couldn’t find anyone. My partner finished his steak, then we left in a hurry. I’m not sure I’ll be back soon. It feels like the personal touch has gone.

Lovely atmosphere, and Michael served us. What an amazing man! I’ll be back and would definitely recommend it.

Still a decent place, but it’s not what it was. I used to love coming here for breakfast ten years ago.

I stayed here over the weekend while working away, and the place had everything I needed. All the staff were great, but Keiran really stood out. He was awesome and helpful with everything, even pointing me to nearby gyms. My kids came to surprise me for Father’s Day, and he helped make it happen. Such a nice person 💯👌
