Carol was so helpful and friendly at Applewood guest house. She answered all my questions politely and positively. I stayed three nights while visiting Aberdeen, and the room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. The showers and toilets were more than adequate. Holly, Carol’s cute white Scottish terrier assistant, was lovely too. I’d recommend staying here. Davy Scott (Gateshead)

Carol made us feel very welcome at Applewood Guest House. The hospitality was great, the rooms decent, and there were enough facilities for everyone. We also had a lovely view of Aberdeen from our room. Would recommend.

We had to book at the last minute after missing the ferry to Shetland. The host was very helpful with rebooking and even kindly let us make expensive phone calls. We had a wonderful experience at Applewood guest house.

Carol was the best part of the stay. She’s amazing, attentive and chatty, and gave us lots of ideas for things to do. The room was clean, with all the basics and nice patterned carpets. There are several toilets and showers on a separate floor, so you can still shower late if you arrive late. A really good, clean place. We booked through airbnb and I’d gladly recommend it.

The host was lovely and gave us lots of handy suggestions for restaurants, pubs and other places. The guest house is great, within walking distance of Aberdeen city centre and the shopping mall.
