Medwyn was a really friendly and helpful host. We had a lovely, peaceful anniversary weekend at Pen Cefn Farm in Winnie’s Hut. The hut is beautiful, spacious and clean, and the views were lovely for watching the sunset and sunrise. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, though there wasn’t much privacy with other guests parked nearby. Apart from that, it was a lovely weekend, and we’ll definitely book again. Thank you again.
The farm setting is a big part of the experience, with sheep and lambs grazing in the fields around you. It’s in the hills, so it feels secluded, but the transport routes to Eryri and the coast are still good. There are different kinds of places to stay, from a bell tent to a luxury lodge, so there’s a lot of choice. The facilities are great and the hosts incredible. An exceptional place to stay, and a must-stay venue!
I stayed for a couple of days with my dog, and the hosts and their dogs were incredibly welcoming. The room was clean and well furnished, with space for two people. There was a microwave and kettle for making food and drinks. By car, the farm is close to lots of amenities and places to visit. We enjoyed plenty of nice walks, even though it rained a lot on the second day. Thank you, or diolch, for a nice stay.
We’ve stayed twice now, once in the tent and once in the shepherd’s hut, and loved both. Winnie the dog is adorable, and the owner is helpful and close by if you need anything. It’s a little hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back.
We’ve been coming back for several years because this place is such a hidden gem. The hosts are fantastic, and the views and location are so peaceful and tranquil. This year we brought our granddaughter to feed the lambs, and we mustn’t forget Winnie x
