The location worked well for us, about a 10-minute walk from the town centre and local park, and it was great value. We had booked a double room, which was pleasant and roomy. A family crisis nearly stopped us from coming, but the owner was very accommodating. The facilities were better than we expected, with shared lounges and kitchens upstairs and downstairs, including a fridge, cooker and washer. Tea, coffee and complimentary breakfast items were available, though we didn't use them.

The bed was wonderfully peaceful, and I slept well after a day out. At Blackwood Residence, my room was spacious and tastefully furnished, with plush amenities that covered everything I needed. The accommodation felt very comfortable and luxurious. I'd happily stay again and highly recommend it.

My four-year-old and I stayed here for an exploring weekend near Malham cove, and the room suited us perfectly. The bathroom and sheets were clean, and there were breakfast basics in the upstairs kitchen, including cereal, bread and milk. We were really happy with the stay. Brilliant for a short visit. Thanks again, we'll be back.

I arrived at Blackwood Residence after a really exhausting day last Friday, and it was so quiet and comfortable there. I loved spending the night. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was amazing for the price range. I'd love to stay again in future.

The room was basic and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. It was cheap, but the bedsheets had stains and the floors could have been cleaner. Our room at the front also looked unfinished and seemed to need another coat of paint.
