The west-facing window gave us a lovely place to watch the sunset, which seemed to line up almost squarely with it, probably from May to July. We unplugged the TV and moved the comfortable chairs over there. It was so quiet and restful, and we slept soundly. The grounds are beautifully kept, with a cottage garden at its peak in May, and the landscape is lovely in every direction. There’s a large enclosed field for the dog. Breakfast was nicely cooked and delicious, and the hosts helped with the few questions we had. I’d be interested to learn more about the house’s history, especially the slats around the stairs that are clearly shaped like guns. I’d recommend it and would return.

There were lots of thoughtful extras in the room, from milk in a small fridge to chocolate, biscuits and soft drinks. The hosts were warm and welcoming, with just the right mix of friendliness and helpfulness. We loved the place, especially the spectacular panoramic views from our room and what might have been the best cooked breakfast ever. We’ll definitely be back soon.

The breakfasts were wonderful, served with a real sense of occasion, and the hosts were very helpful with ideas for interesting day trips. It’s a beautifully maintained farmhouse B&B, with a spacious room, a large bathroom and lovely views of the surrounding farms and forests.

Adrian and Sally made us feel very welcome, and we found the cottage clean, modern and comfortable. It’s a lovely property in peaceful, scenic surroundings. Being dog friendly was a massive bonus in such a nice area.

The house was immaculately kept and full of charm, with beautiful, calming views. We were well looked after by Adrian & Sally, who were very welcoming, and the made-to-order breakfast was excellent. We had a wonderful stay and will book again next year.
