That little pub a minute away was a lovely bonus, with good food and a friendly local feel. We were here for two nights for a nearby wedding and really enjoyed the stay. The old house has loads of character, and the gardens make it such a lovely setting. Our room was roomy and charming, with a roll-top bath and nice toiletries. We had everything we needed, and the staff brought an iron and ironing board when we asked. The bed was so comfortable, and they made it up and refreshed the room after our first night, a thoughtful touch on a short visit. Breakfast was a great start to each day. You pick from a menu, with full English, vegetarian English, or eggs cooked your way, plus toast, fresh orange juice and very good coffee. Everyone we met was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. We loved our stay, thought it was great value, and would happily come back. I can see why the place is popular for weddings.

Allington Manor was such a warm, charming venue for Joshua&Lucy’s wedding on 15. 11.25. Leo and his team helped plan and deliver a lovely day, and Lesley kept everything running like clockwork. We slept well, and the Full English on Sunday morning was delicious. It was a beautiful weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for more. A huge thank you from Jane&Graham.

Lesley made the wedding day feel completely easy for us. She kept everything moving smoothly, made sure our drinks were always topped up, and took away the worries so we could enjoy every moment. What a powerhouse. We got married at Allington Manor in October 2025, and the venue and team were just right. From our first enquiry, everyone was friendly and helpful, and no question felt too small. Leo was quick to respond and supportive all through the planning, which made it much less stressful. We’d recommend Allington Manor without hesitation.

The bedrooms were sumptuous and suited the manor beautifully, and breakfast was superb. We felt honoured to stay there after our wedding at Allington Manor. The gardens and manor have an intimate feel while still being glamorously informal, and the setting was exactly what we had hoped to find for a special occasion. From our first meeting with Leo until we left the day after, the whole experience deserved more than five stars. Leo, Lesley and all the staff were professional and happy to help with anything. They made the day even more special than we could have wished for. We’d absolutely recommend Allington Manor for a wedding or other celebration.

Our guests had lovely things to say about the manor and gardens, and I can see why. We had our wedding at Allington Manor in September and couldn’t have asked for more. Leo and his team were brilliant, and Lesley had every detail of the day’s schedule covered. They were so professional, and I’d recommend holding a reception here.
