The Saddle has comfortable, clean rooms with compact but efficient bathrooms, and the rooms have been modernised while keeping the old-fashioned virtues of good service. Breakfast is good too. The car park is a tight squeeze, so you may need to move your car if you’re the last one in. For a visit to Alnmouth, which is an excellent choice, this B&B is right up there. Good value, and all told I couldn’t fault it.

The room was nice, but ours was up three steep flights of stairs, which we hadn’t really realised when booking. Some staff are quite reserved. The owner’s older mum serving breakfast was the best part, she made the place.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable room and a delicious breakfast. An excellent place to stay, and I’d highly recommend it.

The executive suite was excellent, with great facilities and everything spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great too, with plenty of menu options. I’d certainly recommend a visit.

A warm welcome, pleasant clean rooms and reasonable prices. My only complaint is that there were no beans with breakfast. Maybe that’s a Northumbrian thing. We’ll be back and introduce the baked bean to Alnmouth.
