Jo was brilliant and made us feel really welcome. We were in Alnwick for an event at the Playhouse, just across the road, and she met us at the door and showed us to our room. We had parked on the cobbles in the car park, but she explained that free parking was available across the road and suggested we move the car. Alnwick uses a parking disc, and ours would have run out, so we might have got a ticket. The rooms were lovely and nicely decorated, and I liked the information book with menus for local breakfast, lunch, and drinks, plus leaflets about historical places and other places of interest. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room, and a code for the door. The pillows were too hard for me. The en-suite is tiny, and the shower needs some attention, though I'm sure Jo knows. We didn't use it. The room was a bit hot in the morning, so I opened the window. A great little place, and I'd definitely stay again.

A fantastic little room-only place right in the centre of Alnwick, handy if you're planning a day or two exploring the castle. There's off-street parking, though it only fits two vehicles. The castle is about a seven-minute walk, depending on your mobility.

We stayed in the family room with my two grandchildren, and Jo treated them like her own. She's warm, welcoming, and nothing seems to be a problem for her. The room was clean, and having a fridge for cold drinks was useful. It's a relaxed place to stay, and her rate for the location is amazing, probably hard to beat. Jo goes above and beyond what you'd get at most hotels. Thanks so much, Jo. Erin is already looking forward to coming back xx

We came for a wedding and stayed three nights. The rooms were a good size, lovely, and had really comfortable beds. Jo and Tracy were both lovely and welcoming. The location is excellent, just two minutes from Alnwick town and Alnwick Gardens. There's parking out front, though it's not ideal, and free 24-hour parking is a two-minute walk away. Highly recommend.

The beds were so comfortable, and the information folder had great recommendations. Jo was really friendly and kind, and made sure we were happy and knew where we were going during our stay. Very pleased, we'll be staying again!
