We had a lovely three-night stay in the Parisian Room, just a short walk from Alnwick. Bruce and Jeanette were wonderful hosts and suggested excursions for us each day. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. I'd highly recommend West Acre House!

It's a nice place, but they promise a discount for bookings of five nights or more. I didn't get one, and it still cost 150 pounds a night. P.S. What exactly makes me a "bot"? Is it that I'm saying things you don't like hearing?

We had a lovely stay at Westacre. Jeanette and Bruce are warm, generous and welcoming, and made us feel right at home in their lovely house. The breakfasts were fab too!

We were lucky to find a room for two nights over Easter at the last minute, and everything was excellent from booking through to leaving. The house was beautiful and immaculate, with stunning gardens. Our spacious, warm Parisian room was beautifully appointed and full of thoughtful details, including an Easter egg on the bed. Bruce and Jeannette had thought of everything and were fantastic hosts. We were in Alnwick house hunting, and they were happy to share invaluable local knowledge. The location makes it easy to walk into town. Breakfast was spot on, hot and tasty, with flowers on the table and a little name card. We'll definitely be back. Next time I want to try the oriental room. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay, and it was hard to leave. West Acre House is immaculate, beautiful and very comfortable, just outside town, with easy access to the coastal roads and only a ten-minute walk into Alnwick. The breakfast menu has something for everyone, and if you enjoy a cooked breakfast, it's hard to beat.
