We slept brilliantly in a very comfortable bed, and the room had everything we needed. The original building has real charm, the bathroom was spotless, and the roll-top bath and great shower were lovely. On arrival, our friendly hosts brought tea, coffee and homemade biscuits to the drawing room, where a fire was lit. The setting is so peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. Breakfast is ordered the day before, which worked really well and was nicely organised. There was plenty to choose from, and the homemade granola and jams were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend it, and will come back next time we're in the area. Thanks again, Matt & Kerrie.

The views across the countryside were amazing, and it's a beautiful building. We had a spacious room and a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was great, with whatever you fancied in any combination, and it certainly set us up for the day. My wife and I spent a lovely weekend here for our anniversary. We were welcomed with tea, homemade cakes and biscuits, and they even gave us the recipe. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for a perfect weekend. We're both looking forward to staying again soon.

Our room was lovely. Naomi was such a warm host, and Georgina made an amazing breakfast. A stunning B&B.

There are walks right from the doorstep, and apart from going out for dinner, we didn't need to drive anywhere. The room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we could need. We were welcomed with tea, coffee and freshly made cakes, and the ginger cake was the best I've ever had! Breakfast was delicious, with loads of choice. A lovely, characterful B&B in the perfect location. Highly recommended, and we'd love to stay again.

Breakfasts were delicious, and it was lovely to unwind with a cuppa by a real fire in the sitting room. The place is magical, and we really enjoyed our stay. Naomi, the owner, was friendly and helpful. It's handy for walking to Dovedale and visiting nearby Ilam.
