The meal was delicious, a locally sourced three-course dinner for £15 each, and they welcomed our dog too. I was cycling to John o Groats and spent one night here. Mandy and Lindsey greeted us with tea and biscuits, and the room was lovely with an en suite. Such great hosts, would highly recommend.

A real home away from home, and so spotless. Our room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Mandy and Lindsay were lovely, always ready to help and full of knowledge about the area. Breakfast was exceptional, and dinner is worth trying too, all home cooked and mostly locally sourced. 10/10, an absolute gem.

The views are stunning, and the food was great. The owners made the stay, though. They greeted us with such warm smiles and were keen to chat and get to know us. They also shared a bit about themselves, offered local advice, and told stories about the northern lights, along with some funny banter. If you find availability on your trip, do yourself a favour and stay the night here. GO HERE!!!

After cycling into a headwind from Thurso, I arrived exhausted. Mandy and Lindsay were wonderful, bringing me tea, finding a safe place for my bike, and carrying my bags up to a lovely room. The B&B was comfortable and had excellent views. I also had a very good three-course dinner, followed by tea or coffee. Thank you so much.

It’s wonderfully quiet and beautiful here, with a real sense of being far from any other civilization. I stayed in October 2022 during my End-to-End/LEJOG bike ride, and it was perfect. The hosts were friendly, my room was warm and comfortable, and breakfast was tasty and filling before another day of riding. I’d recommend it to other bike tourers passing through.
