Glen, the owner, was so friendly and went out of his way to help. I stayed three nights and loved the place: the room was spotless and spacious, with a lovely large en-suite bathroom and shower. The location and grounds are beautiful, breakfast was delicious and home cooked, and the WiFi was nice and fast. I’d highly recommend it.

Our host Glen was really accommodating, and the homemade breakfast was made to order. I even learnt how to make perfect poached eggs. The rooms were very clean, well appointed and comfortable, with great showers. Pricing is really fair, and the location couldn’t be better. It’s just the right place to stay compared with crappy pubs and awful chain hotels or motels. Don’t miss this lovely spot. Highly recommended. Gisele and Jeremy

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic, the best I’ve had in England. The host came out to greet me, carried my bag, showed me around and suggested places to eat nearby. Outside, there’s a pond and flowers, lazy cats, and goats, geese and sheep along the lane. Idyllic.

The host was very welcoming, and parking was fine. The room was very clean and well equipped, with a comfortable bed. The shower was great, with a large head and lovely warm water, and breakfast was well cooked and excellent quality. The dining room had an interesting collection of photos and paintings and felt very quaint. The grounds looked lovely, but the heavy rain kept me from going out.
