Coras House

Amy, the housekeeper, was friendly and helpful, and Mika loved the treats she left. We spent a week in Amble, staying at Cora's, a few minutes' walk from the harbour and local amenities. The cottage has what you need, including two comfortable bedrooms. The lower bunk is a double, so an adult could sleep there. The lounge is compact and doubles as the dining area. My only constructive criticism is the outdoor space: it isn't grassed and is shared with other cottages, so I didn't feel I could relax there after a day out. The cottage is dog friendly, and there's parkland at the top of the road to exercise your pooch. Amble is a lovely coastal area, and people were welcoming. We travelled from Amble to Berwick upon Tweed and visited the local places of interest. I'd highly recommend it to other travellers.
