The beds were so comfortable that even our 8yo approved, and the room was spacious, warm, cosy, and very clean. The bathroom was roomy too. We appreciated having a small fridge for cold drinks and tea and coffee facilities after a full day out. We booked through booking.com for a recent Stonehenge trip with our little one. The place was easy to find, and the host’s parking and courtyard directions were helpful and simple to follow. Check-in instructions were straightforward as well. A real gem, and I’d highly recommend it.
The rooms felt luxurious, with lovely decor and a beautifully appointed bathroom. There were tea and coffee facilities, plus a fridge stocked with fresh milk, cold water, and orange juice. A thoughtfully presented bag of breakfast items included muffins, granola pots, and fresh bananas. The bed was super comfy, with plenty of clean, crisp sheets and throws to keep us warm. We found this quiet little place by accident on Hotels.com, and it was a real bargain for the price. It’s beautifully situated behind a hotel, with its own private entrance. I’d recommend it for a relaxing getaway in your own peaceful space.
We had the family room. The bathroom smelled strongly of mold, and the floors were warped, possibly from humidity, which might explain the smell. Breakfast was basically store-bought items. Nearby bakeries or restaurants would be a better choice.
The room was clean and had everything we needed. The owners clearly think through the details, from the decor to the cute, generous takeaway breakfast, with some items in and out of the fridge. There was fruit, juice, water, milk, a tea pot, treats, and breakfast food. The location was great and walkable, too. Self check-in was easy with the clear instructions, and everything went smoothly. A real class act, five stars all around!
After a long trip from Torquay with our two little ones, we were exhausted, so it was a relief that everything felt effortless as soon as we arrived. Tracey and Keith made all the logistics seamless, with clear What3Words directions and a personalized welcome slate with our guest’s name. We had a spacious, immaculate, beautifully appointed suite that was wonderfully warm, excellent food provisions, and the most comfortable bed of our whole holiday. We only stayed overnight and missed meeting the cats, but this was just the restorative pause we needed before continuing home. Thank you both for making such a welcoming retreat. We’d come back in a heartbeat!
