The cottage had pretty much everything we needed, and the location was ideal for lovely walks and getting out in nature. My wife, our three dogs and I spent two weeks here enjoying exactly the peace and relaxation we needed. The owners gave us truly good service. We've already booked to come back next year.

Tucked up a private lane, set back from the village road, the cottage is very quiet and has good parking. It's a delightful, cosy place and a great base for exploring the Yorkshire dales. The bedrooms are well proportioned, the bathroom is good, and there's a large oven, full hob and dishwasher. The gardens at both front and back are pleasant. The village is lovely and has two pubs.

We've been coming back every year since finding this comfortable, well equipped cottage in 2015. Its position set back from the road makes it handy for easy river walks to Burnsall, Linton, Grassington and Bolton Abbey, as well as tougher outings to Trollers Gill. After a walk, there's the garden, conservatory or living room log burner to relax by. The Craven arms down the road is welcoming and dog friendly, with good pub food.

A peaceful home from home, and a great base for exploring Yorkshire. We had a very comfortable two days, with a roaring fire and lovely decor. Everything we needed was there, and local pubs are only a few minutes' walk away.

We've walked straight from Fellside along the Dale's way to Grassington, and our dog has enjoyed the garden and snoozing by the fire. It's a delightful cottage with great views all around. The log stove is a treat, and the owners supplied plenty of coal and logs.
