Phyllis made us feel like family, and we had lovely conversations with her about the local area. She was a friendly, accommodating host and got each morning off to a great start with a full breakfast and a taste of Scotland. It’s a quiet spot with wonderful views, and a perfect base for touring the area. Highly recommend staying here.
My late wife and I stayed here 14 years ago. The owner and her daughter were a fabulous, welcoming family, and they’d even take our Cavalier for an evening walk while we got ready for dinner in Dornie. We had smashing breakfasts and great views.
We only stayed one night at Sealladh Mara, but Phyllis made us feel right at home. The rooms were cosy, the views were great, and breakfast was an amazing home-cooked meal. Loved the highland coos themed placemats too!
There’s a little garden with a view of the lake, and the owner was really kind and helpful. We had a very good stay after our trip to Skye. The room was clean and cute.
We enjoyed our stay and will come back again :)
