Dobbin Lodge

Some of my favorite moments were quiet ones, having coffee and a book on the patio in the morning while Armagh woke up. Dobbin Lodge gave us that home-like feeling we wanted for part of our honeymoon, especially since this was our first time in another country. My wife and I spent a week there and were delighted with the whole stay. We could keep to our own schedule without worrying about disturbing anyone. With a rental car, we got up when we liked, spent the day touring, and came back when it suited us. Then we could walk to a nearby restaurant, get takeaway, or cook dinner ourselves. Being able to prepare meals and do laundry also saved us some money. The owners were welcoming from the first contact. They replied quickly to my emails, and the phone calls were warm and courteous. The house was very clean and well equipped, with linens, plates, cutlery and kitchen utensils. The Wi-Fi was fast and dependable, the TV worked well, and the bathroom was clean and modern. There were two of us, but the two bedrooms and four twin beds could comfortably accommodate four. I'd recommend Dobbin Lodge to anyone who likes self-catering and setting their own travel plans.
