This old-fashioned, quaint hotel sits among the hillside and loch, with a beautiful view. The rooms were clean, though the beds were a bit soft. Staff were helpful and very professional, and the restaurant served a top-notch dinner and breakfast. A great experience overall.

We were supposed to stay two nights, but one was more than enough. There weren't enough staff in the evening, and after we ordered, we were told that all the items we'd chosen were off the menu. We ended up ordering a burger that was massively overpriced for what it was. Around 1 a.m., staff were banging something that sounded like beer kegs, and the road noise wasn't great either. Would I stay again? Only if desperate.

The hotel could use a wee bit of TLC, but otherwise the overnight stay was fantastic. The views over the loch are beautiful, and the staff were so friendly. Reception was very welcoming and the restaurant staff super efficient. Dinner and breakfast were both really good.

The room was ideal for a night, with a comfortable bed, and there was plenty of parking outside. We had dinner from a good menu, and the friendly staff were great. I had the steak pie, a very nice meal with a good portion, and a great view from the window. Slept well, enjoyed the buffet breakfast and checked out. We got a great welcome from a very polite young lady from Romania. Both she and the Polish guy at reception were excellent at looking after guests. I'd recommend staying and will return.

Lovely location, but I'd avoid this room if possible. The room was horrible: there's a sign on the window saying it's been broken since August last year, seven months ago, and it still hasn't been fixed. The bedding looked soaked in urine, and the door doesn't even lock from the inside.
