Absolutely stunning, what an incredible place. We didn't want to leave and would happily go back anytime.

Darren, the owner, was extremely helpful, explaining where to visit and eat. The views from the veranda are spectacular, and the boat trip on Darrens boat made our holiday even more special. Everyone enjoyed it, from the teenagers to my mother in law, who's in her 80's. There are lots of places to eat. I can recommend the Drovers and Duck Bay, as both cater well for vegetarians. The lodge was comfortable, very clean, and spacious enough for five of us. It made a great base for our holiday.

The lodge was very clean, the service was very good, and the location and amenities make it a great choice for visiting Loch Lomond. Six adults in my family stayed for two nights, and everyone was extremely impressed. The owner showed us the house rules on arrival and told us about boats and canoes we could use during our stay. That was a lovely surprise. The bedrooms were comfortable. I slept in the double room and used its full en suite, so I can't comment on the other bathroom. The water pressure was pleasant, and though the en suite was a little compact, everything was easy to reach. Towels and some toiletries were provided, though we brought our own. The lounge connects to the kitchen and dining areas. The two couches were a little snug for six adults, but we had no trouble sitting on the floor or using dining chairs, as there was enough room. Two bay windows look out over the loch, and the fantastic views always bring joy. From the lounge and dining rooms, you can step onto a wrap around deck that connects to the jetty shown in the pictures. The kitchen was fantastically stocked with utensils and even consumables we hadn't expected. You could certainly cook here if you wanted to, and we cooked both nights. We also made heavy use of the dishwasher.

Darren was attentive, a great host, and ready to help with anything we needed. The lodge was spacious, clean, and more than big enough for six adults. Great location with activities nearby. Highly recommended.
