We never tire of The Swan because there’s always something different on the menu. I had a non-alcoholic Mojito with loads of fresh mint, and it was great. I’m disabled and found the facilities excellent, with really good parking. We met friends for lunch who hadn’t been before, and they were impressed too. The food was faultless and the staff were great. We booked for 2.30pm and stayed until nearly 5.30pm because we were having such a good time, with lots of banter, especially with the French barman.

A cosy pub with tasty food, a great selection of drinks, and a brilliant atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived, and service was quick even though it was busy. We had a really enjoyable time here, whether for a relaxed drink after work or a casual evening with friends. I’ll definitely be back, highly recommend!

We spotted this beautiful old restaurant and hotel and stopped in for lunch. The menu was lovely and well priced, the staff helpful and polite, and everything very clean. There’s a large car park. We didn’t stay, so I can’t comment on the rooms. My dessert was so delicious that I licked the plate when I was sure nobody was looking.

We stopped at the pub as a group and had a lovely time. It’s warm and cosy, and everyone was so lovely. Becci and Courtney served us attentively and kept checking that we were all okay.

Our first visit, and it didn’t disappoint! Luke b was attentive without being over the top, and chef Matt cooked my steak perfectly. It was the perfect birthday meal out. Can’t wait to come back!
