Our wedding day ran perfectly, and we felt cared for the whole time. A big thank you to Lee, the bar team and everyone on staff for making it personal and smooth. Chloe was phenomenal from day one: calm, responsive, detail oriented and always ahead of things. She made a process that could have been stressful feel easy. The whole team's warmth and professionalism stood out, and the service, wine and experience felt like white glove service at every step. The room looked breathtaking, and the team brought our vision to life and then some. The setup and atmosphere were beautiful. Food was another highlight, especially the canapés, which were generous enough that guests said they had ten to fifteen each. The winter greens were a favourite, and people are still talking about the chicken. The quality, presentation and consistency were excellent. Breakfast was gourmet, and the food was incredible on several visits to the Royal Berkshire before the wedding. The chef also created a Persian special dish for our guests, which everyone loved. Our honeymoon suite was beautiful, and the guest rooms were thoughtfully decorated and warm and welcoming. The top quality snacks and drinks in the rooms delighted the younger guests and those of us with a sweet tooth. Guests are still talking about the day weeks later. We can't thank the team at the Royal Berkshire Hotel enough, especially Chloe, for the care and organisation. If you're considering it as a wedding venue, we can't recommend it highly enough.

We had a lovely couple of nights between Christmas and New Year while visiting family. The festive decorations throughout the building made the hotel feel special, and every staff member we met, from housekeeping to reception and the restaurant, was friendly and professional. Our refurbished room was spacious, quiet and well appointed, with a really comfortable bed. My back appreciated it after my son's guestbed! Breakfast had a delicious hot and cold buffet. We'll be back soon.

We toured Royal Berkshire while looking at wedding venues. We eventually chose another place because of our guests' travel requirements, but the wedding team gave us such exceptional service that we wanted to mention it. Dominika was terrific throughout. She was responsive and hospitable, took a real interest in our story and listened to the vision we had. She was flexible about our requests and made us feel special during the tour. The grounds are intimate and beautiful, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. For couples looking for a beautiful setting with a dedicated team, we highly recommend Dominika and Royal Berkshire.

We had a special 60th birthday afternoon tea for a dear friend in a beautiful, traditional setting. The sandwiches, warm scones and desserts were delicious and looked lovely, and the tea was a notch above others I've had. The staff were welcoming. Sunita and Eddie were especially attentive, approachable and gentle. Good service brings people back!
