Jackie, Michelle, Amanda and the rest of the staff made our first stay here a really enjoyable one. We were there for three nights, and found the room clean and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent.

Emma made us feel welcome, and we'd happily come back. We were told to try the pub and the food was amazing. My partner had pie and chips, and I had the beef and Stilton stew. Both were really tasty and filling.

We come here quite often for Sunday lunch, and this time we were with friends. The portions were generous, and the wine was excellent. Those school-inspired desserts were much better than any I can remember!

The location worked really well for exploring Stonehenge, Bath, Gloster and the small villages nearby. We stayed three nights. The rooms are large, the food is great, and the atmosphere is excellent. The people there are nice and helpful.

That sandwich was meant to be toasted, and they couldn't even use a decent loaf, for goodness' sake. I stopped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon and paid £10 for what looked like a 99p supermarket sandwich in the photo. To be fair, it did have both halves, so the bit shown is worth a fiver.
