The staff were kind and helpful the whole time, and the location worked perfectly for our early Eurotunnel crossing. Our room was clean, though it looked dated and smelled damp. The air conditioning didn’t work, so it was uncomfortable, and even the shower’s coldest setting came out extremely hot.

It’s in a handy spot, around 15 minutes from LeShuttle, and the hotel itself was okay. Breakfast was the reason for my three stars. It’s table service rather than a buffet, and painfully slow: we were first through the door at 6:30am and ordered straight away, yet the hot food took about 25 minutes. The serving was disappointing when it finally came. I’d honestly choose the McDonald’s next door for breakfast.

Premier Inn staff entered one letter of our car registration incorrectly when we booked parking, and I ended up with a £60 charge. Customer Services kept telling me to call Horizon, even after I explained it was only an automated payment line. After 15 minutes on the phone, I had to appeal to Horizon in writing and wait weeks for the charge to be cancelled. It was the hotel’s mistake, but I was left to sort it out myself.

Premier Inn Ashford is right in the busy Leisure Park, with restaurants and entertainment nearby and free parking just outside. We found the room clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a good night’s sleep. Check-in was easy thanks to the welcoming, professional staff, and breakfast set us up well for the day. A very enjoyable, dependable stay for business or leisure, and I’d happily recommend it.

We were in Ashford for one night of babysitting, and Tim remembered why we were there. He left a lovely note in our room. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the bed was really comfortable. It was nice and quiet overnight. Well done, Tim and the Eureka park team.
