The Old Ministers House

We made good use of the sheltered BBQ area on chilly September evenings, and the lounge and kitchen were cosy places to gather. The accommodation is luxurious and for exclusive use, with activities right nearby and Aviemore an easy walk away. We really enjoyed staying here and would love to come back.

There’s plenty of space for the whole family, and getting into Aviemore takes only a little longer than the very short walk to La Taverna or The Old Bridge Inn. When it’s sunny, the hot tub and outdoor BBQ spot are lovely; in rain or snow, the log stoves are even better. Always a pleasure to return.

The guest house was immaculate, breakfast was wonderful, and the whole place had such a relaxing feel. This was easily my favourite stop on our two-week trip. The area is stunning, and next time we’ll stay longer. Thanks for the great hospitality.

The location is ideal for setting off on a bike ride through the national park, with bike rental just across the road. We also had country club membership included, so we could swim, use the sauna, or golf. The rooms were beautiful and had everything we wanted, and downstairs there’s a pleasant lounge with a good range of drinks.
