The Dairy at Wyke Farm

Apple barn is a fantastic place to stay, with loads of room and three en suites. The decor throughout is tasteful and finished to a high standard, and the views are outstanding. It's also handy for getting to Devon and Dorset. John and Kathryn, along with Fizz the Labrador, were brilliant hosts. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

We were in the countryside, with only birdsong to be heard, and the location was lovely. I stayed in Apple barn with my partner and two friends in March 2022. Both friends had terminal cancer. The house felt much larger inside than I'd expected: our friends had a big bedroom downstairs, while upstairs we could choose between two smaller rooms. Downstairs, the spacious kitchen and living room had good facilities, a comfortable place to relax, a TV and WiFi. Big windows brought in plenty of light and framed the views, and the raised deck outside was a lovely spot for lunch in the sun. The owner was charming, friendly and very helpful. We had a great stay and would gladly return.

The self-catering cottage was clean and tidy, with lovely views across the surrounding countryside. The only small issue was that the WiFi could be unreliable at times. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it.

We spent four lovely, memorable nights here with family to celebrate our wedding, and the location was just right. The accommodation at Old Toms place was stunning, and our hosts were friendly and helpful throughout. We really hope we can come back one day. I've been meaning to write this for over a year, but finally got around to it!
