Katie and Alexis were absolutely great, and they looked after me so well. What a beautiful place to stay. It was a real pleasure, and I'll definitely be back. I wish there were more people like them around.

All home-cooked, with generous portions and great service. The best roast dinner I've had in months. Highly recommend it, and we'll be back.

The roast was beautiful, really tasty, and nicely presented. The food was wonderful, but the bill was soured by a £5.40 pint of lemonade with a dash of lime. A non-alcoholic drink shouldn't cost that much, possibly because of the brewery owners, Greene King. It may put some people off coming back, at least for drinks.

We booked this pub for a wake on Friday 23rd May 2025, though none of us had been there before. It was a very sad day for our family, but the calm atmosphere, staff, and really nice food helped make it a pleasant occasion for us all. I would recommend the pub.

The Lower Bell was a really nice venue for our wedding reception on Saturday. The staff were amazing, the buffet was good, and the prices were very reasonable. We'd highly recommend it. Thanks to everyone for making our day so special. Denny & Vicky
