Elliot Suite Donnini Apartments

The flat was quiet enough to manage, but I’d rate it 5/10. If the sheets or toilets had been dirty, I would have called during the stay. I emailed Doninni about the problems afterwards and got no reply. There wasn't much space to put belongings in the bedroom, with no table or chair, and one dining chair was broken with a screw missing. In the kitchen there was no chopping board or corkscrew. The cleaning was poor too: the carpet hadn't been vacuumed properly, the flat was dusty, the windows were filthy and the shower wasn't very clean. There was no handrail for disabled visitors. The fridge smelled so bad, almost as if it had been wiped with a dirty cloth, that it affected the food we stored in it. We ended up using a Tupperware tub we’d brought along.

We stay here three times a year, my partner Graham and I, and the service is always fabulous. The apartments and staff are great, and I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you!

We had a great weekend, though the big room needed cleaning, the sink was blocked, and the bed was broken.

It was small, but really clean.
