The breakfast was fantastic, and the hosts were lovely people who clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. It's a great building with a brilliant room. Loved the place, an absolute gem.

Liz and Douglas were such friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. The house is beautifully presented and tastefully decorated, and breakfast was fabulous. I'd highly recommend it and will definitely stay again.

Liz and Douglas were the highlight, so welcoming and accommodating with their warm Scottish hospitality. The guesthouse is beautiful and the rooms are well appointed, but breakfast alone deserves five stars. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Inverlea while we were in Ayr for a wedding.

We enjoyed our two nights here and will definitely return. Liz even called before we arrived to check in, since my partner was held up at work and we were getting in later than planned. She explained where to find our room key, then made sure to introduce herself and Douglas when we went downstairs. They were both welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Little touches like a welcome card, two sweets and freshly topped-up tea and coffee were much appreciated. We'll recommend the place to family and friends too.
