The location’s great, the guest house was clean, and Paul was a lovely host to chat with. Breakfast was great too, thanks, Paul. I’d stay here again, but I wouldn’t book room 6 on the ground floor. I hadn’t realised the bathroom was outside the room, and I didn’t like having to go back and forth for privacy. It’s right by the dining room as well, so the talking woke me up. The bed was very uncomfortable, though I’m not sure if it was the mattress or the box spring.

We knew our chosen room wasn’t en suite, but were pleasantly surprised to find we had a private toilet and shower next door. Room 6 was listed as a small double, yet it was perfectly adequate for two adults. Nice extras included a wee chocolate each, biscuits, tea and coffee making facilities, plus a free resident pass for the car. We both enjoyed breakfast and would be happy to stay again.

The hosts were friendly and professional, and the place was absolutely spotless. My bedroom was very spacious and had every facility you’d expect, plus a massive double-point shower and the comfiest bed ever. One of the best stays I’ve had in the U.K. If it’s available, go, it’s that simple. This is the view from my bedroom window....

The huge bed was so comfortable, with loads of pillows, that I really didn’t want to get up. My spacious double felt like a home from home, with everything I needed, plenty of tea and coffee, biscuits, and even an iron and ironing board. I met the owner at check-in, a very pleasant chap. Wonderful little guesthouse. Stay herr. You WON’T regret it ✌️✌️✌️

Breakfast came promptly after we ordered it the night before, with a generous spread that included fresh fruit and cereals. Liz was warm and helpful, and the B&B is just a short stroll from town and right beside the beach. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We'd happily stay again.
