Heathy Lea Bed And Breakfast

Our three-year-old loved the Shepherds Hut and is still asking to go back to “our cosy cabin.” It was clean, cosy and just right for the Autumn/Winter season. The hosts communicated brilliantly, even after we’d left, and left us a welcome pack of essentials. Parking was close by and unloading was easy. We also had a lovely, very picturesque walk into Chatsworth. 100% recommend!

Sally and James made us feel like old friends within minutes of our first visit, and we fell for Heathy Lea straight away. It gave us so many ways to shape the wedding we wanted, and in the end it was perfect. The place felt like ours for the whole weekend, and every question or request got a “yes of course”. We had a close family dinner on Friday, turned the venue into a magical wedding setting on Saturday, then carried on celebrating Sunday. The surroundings speak for themselves, and our guests loved the cottages and shepherds huts. In the quiet moments, waking up to the beautiful setting and walking over to Chatsworth was special. I can’t put the magic of the place, or how wonderful Sally and James are as hosts, into words. We couldn’t have made such a perfect weekend anywhere else or without them. The day meant so much to us, and Heathy Lea made it even more special. We got married there and celebrated with our family and friends, who were made to feel just as welcome as we were. Sally and James were lovely to all of us. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy those beautiful surroundings again.

The views were lovely, and the place was so peaceful. My daughter and I spent two nights at Woodlands, and I really liked how beautifully designed and decorated the huts were. We’d happily come back. A microwave would be a useful addition.
