A gorgeous breakfast and such a peaceful feel throughout this beautiful period house. Jeanette gave us a really warm welcome, and the thoughtful little personal touches were lovely. We had a great overnight stay and would definitely return. Thank you x

Janette made us feel very welcome and offered helpful restaurant tips for Bakewell. She also invited us to help ourselves to beer or wine from the guest fridge. Our room was comfortable, with toiletries and dressing gowns provided, and breakfast in the lovely dining room was excellent. The Grade II listed house is beautiful, with decor and furnishings that suit it so well. It’s right at the edge of town, by the old bridge over the River Wye. Highly recommended.
