The village is quiet and there isn’t loads to do nearby, but it makes a great base for exploring the Highlands. Public transport was really convenient and made it easy to get around. I felt at ease as soon as I arrived. Johnny was kind, thoughtful and attentive, and helped whenever I needed it without being intrusive. As a solo traveller, I felt comfortable and very welcome. I’d absolutely recommend staying here and hope I can come back one day.

Johnny was warm and helpful, and his directions and local advice were excellent. I still have to be honest about the room, though. The twin bedroom was dark and outdated, and both the room and the bed linen smelled musty. It felt genuinely dirty. I was only there for one night and was too nice to complain at the time, but I’d ask the owner to step into that room and consider whether they’d want to stay there. New mattresses shouldn’t be that expensive, and the rooms need some care if the B&B is going to last. I told my tour provider to keep an eye on the B&B because I don’t think the price we paid was justified. I also remember asking for porridge, but Johnny was busy chatting and forgot to bring it. I didn’t want to make a fuss then.

The room, bathroom and shared area were all clean and comfortable, and breakfast was insanely good. We arrived early and were welcomed in with a coffee. Our host was extremely kind, easy to talk to and great company. The place is very close to a nearby Co-op for groceries. I really enjoyed the stay and will visit again.

We stopped for one night on our Scotland trip and had a lovely stay. The host was very pleasant and easy to approach, and the rooms felt neat, tidy and homely.

John was an incredibly kind host at Park View, and the breakfast really was a breakfast of champions. I slept wonderfully and would happily come back. Thanks!
