The main house had so much character, and was spotless. It was just right for a large group. Our experience with Stay Lagom was wonderful from the moment we got in touch. Jordan answered our questions really quickly, and even while we were there, we heard from them every day.

There were six of us, three couples, in the Hideout cottage for one night, and none of us wanted to leave. We already want to come back. It's a hidden gem, although part of me would selfishly rather keep it that way. The estate has been beautifully renovated. The cottage gave us three good-sized double rooms and three bathrooms, with a tasteful mix of old and contemporary style. It was comfortable, spotless and well equipped, with great attention to detail. The setting feels quiet and rural, but it's an easy walk to Ballycastle's restaurants and bars, and a good base for seeing the North Coast scenery. It exceeded our expectations.

The beds were the comfiest ever, and the room and lounge were so relaxing to spend time in. We also really appreciated having kitchen facilities to make our own meals. Lagom in Ballycastle is a lovely B&B, full of heart and soul in its renovation and styling, and the hosts were friendly and very helpful. It was a perfect base for exploring the coast by bus, though even better if you drive. In town, Ursa Minor is a nice cafe, and the local butcher was really friendly too. The only downside was having to check out. Thanks, Lagom!

We had a wonderful stay with friends in the second house at Stay Lagom. It's been fully renovated, with a modern, stylish and cosy feel that still feels welcoming and homely. Every detail seemed thoughtfully designed, and we loved our time there. Town is about a 20-minute walk away, with great cafes like Ursa Minor and the beach. The Giant’s Causeway is a short drive too, so it's a handy base for exploring the area. We're thinking of returning with family and booking the main house.

A lovely house for big families or groups, with wonderful hosts and lots of thoughtful extras. The attention to detail is immaculate. Thank you, Lagom.
