Chimney Corner Hotel

We stayed in a spacious, comfortable family room for a wedding, and the bathroom was spot on. The hotel has had a major makeover and is looking great. Everyone we met was courteous and friendly. Breakfast was good too, although the team seemed a little short-staffed. They did their best, but management might need to add a few more people. No complaints from us, and we'd happily come back.

We had a family birthday meal at Chimney Corner and it was such a good experience. The food was perfect, and Chris the head chef came over to talk with us. The waitresses were really friendly and chatty. Both the meal and service were top class, and we'll definitely be back.

The room was incredible, with a perfect bed, a huge TV that connected easily, fast wifi, and a shower with two heads and fantastic pressure. Breakfast was included and spectacular, and the staff were super friendly. I've stayed in lots of hotels, and this was easily the best I've found at this price. I've paid three times as much for rooms half as good. I hope I can stay here again before leaving Ireland. I've never felt this refreshed after a hotel stay.

The staff were wonderful, and breakfast was ample, well cooked and nicely presented. The rooms are small but adequate, with a very modern bathroom and showers instead of tubs. Wifi was great, though I found the TV a bit hard to manage. There wasn't individual lighting by the beds, which would've helped for reading without disturbing my partner. No room air conditioning either, but you can open the windows in both the room and bathroom.
