Central Bar Guesthouse

The room was extremely noisy, with road traffic and people hanging around on the street until the early hours. The owner should make the noise levels clear on the booking site. It was a waste of money, and I had no choice but to check out a day early because of how loud it was.

We stopped in for a few pints on Sunday evening. The live music was great, the fire in the corner fireplace was just right, and everyone was friendly. Fantastic little pub!

Hi from Arizona! My husband asked what I wanted for dinner, and I said fish and chips. I started to say I didn't think I'd ever had a decent meal of it, then stopped myself: “No, wait, that one pub we stopped at in Ireland had the best fish and chips I've ever had in my entire life.” We just spent 15 minutes zooming in on every town up the east coast, trying to remember the pub's name. I wanted to leave a review to say that four years later, I still think about those fish and chips. Nothing compares, especially here in the landlocked Arizona desert! Just know I miss you and think about you a lot. 💗😆

The beach was an easy walk away, and the guesthouse worked well as a base for exploring nearby. We had free parking right across from it, and breakfast at Cafe Cova, about a minute away, was amazing. Our family room was spotless, with a comfortable double bed and built-in bunks for the kids, plus everything else we needed. The staff were so friendly. A real hidden gem, we'd happily recommend it and come back.
