From the show-around and planning meetings to late-night emails and panicked calls about little details, the Millbrook staff were phenomenal. Their advice, reassurance and encouragement made the whole process feel cared for, and the communication was second to none. When I arrived on the day, it honestly felt like walking into a room full of family. Before the aisle, the team helped calm our pre-wedding nerves with their reassuring presence and kind words, for both me and my husband. Gerty and Skye had been with us from the start and were there that day too. It wouldn’t have felt the same without them. Caitlin was our day-of coordinator, and although it was our first time meeting her, she was warm and calming right away. She looked after us and our guests, handled my husband’s million questions that morning, and kept everything running smoothly. All three of you played such an important part in our wedding. Your dedication really showed, and we’re so grateful. We couldn’t have chosen a better place. The venue is stunning, with plenty of spots for photos whatever the weather, and all our guests commented on how wonderful the day was, especially the food. We felt looked after from start to finish and couldn’t have asked for better. I’d highly recommend the Millbrook.

It’s a great spot for a family night out. The food is excellent, the service fantastic, and the portions are really generous for the price. The restaurant is hard to find at this standard these days. We’ll definitely be back.

We had lunch here a couple of months ago and the food and hospitality were amazing. I’d promised Aran, our waiter, I’d leave a review. He was so welcoming and answered all our questions about the menu. If possible, we’d love to see him again on our big day.

I live nearby and come to the Millbrook often. The food at the Gilmore is delicious, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Service is great, and there are plenty of staff around for the lovely carvery. It’s just a lovely place, with clean, fancy toilets. Love it.
