I had such a cosy, warm stay at Hillcrest House in November 2015. It feels like a cottage, and the views from the windows are lovely. Honestly, I didn’t want to go home. 😄 I wouldn’t even have minded spending the 2020 lockdown there. 💝

We had a lovely couple of nights at Hillcrest. Mark, thanks for a first-rate breakfast with lots of choice. The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed, and we slept well. Parking was easy, and it’s only a short walk to the centre of Bamburgh. We’d definitely stay again.

We were warmly welcomed and had an excellent breakfast. The room and bathroom were spacious, and getting in was easy with the key box and message.

The top floor was all ours, with comfortable beds and great views on both sides of the property. The room could do with a refresh, though. The hosts were great and the breakfasts were lovely, made with locally sourced food. It’s right in the heart of Bamburgh, but there’s no dedicated parking, which can be awkward.

The owner sent clear details about where to find the key, and the arrangements were excellent. We had the family room on the top floor, with two rooms and a bathroom. Breakfast was ordered the night before and cooked beautifully. We managed to park on the road outside. A great B and B in a brilliant spot for Bamburgh.
