The climb up to the house was very steep, but it didn't spoil our one-night stop on our Oban to Inverness cycling trip. Gail kindly let us bring our bikes inside. Braeburn Guesthouse was ideal: a spacious room, a really comfortable bed and a superb breakfast. One of the best places I've stayed, and I'll definitely come back.

Breakfast was the best part of our stay, especially with the lake and scenery right there to look at. The guesthouse has a beautiful outlook across Loch Eil and the surrounding landscape, and Neptune’s Staircase is close enough to reach on foot. We had a wonderful time here, with peaceful surroundings, lovely views and local sights within easy reach.

The rooms were warm and nicely decorated, with a great view. Gail was a lovely host, and breakfast was excellent. It's clearly a well run place. I really enjoyed our stay and would come back when passing through fort William.

We arrived late after my girlfriend broke her ankle and we'd been to the hospital. The lady who runs the guest house welcomed us so warmly and made us feel at ease. Inside, it was cosy and absolutely spotless. It's the best guest house I've stayed in, and I'd recommend it and come back.

We had a lovely view from our room, and breakfast was delicious. There was parking for cars too, which was a real plus. The welcome was warm, and we got helpful suggestions about what to see. The location worked really well for Fort William and nearby places. Rooms and bathrooms were almost perfect, though sound carried between our room and the neighbour's. It didn't bother us much, but that could be improved.
