About a 15 minute walk from town, this quaint house has a secluded top-floor space with a private relaxing area, TV, dining area and microwave, among other things. The host is friendly and does everything she can to make the stay comfortable. Maisie, the very friendly Rottweiler, is an added bonus and doesn't bother you at all. My friend, who is scared of large dogs, was happily petting her by the end of her visit and had made a new friend. I'd recommend Victorian townhouse as a home from home.

It's just over a 10 minute walk from Banbury train station, and the Victorian Townhouse is a lovely find. The host is welcoming, and her dog may put on a big talk, but she's one of the sweetest, goofiest creatures around. The room is up several flights of stairs, so it isn't wheelchair-accessible. There's an extra lounge area with the breakfast items, plus a kettle, dishes, mini fridge, TV and extra seating. The bathroom is outside the room and shared with the host. I stayed several nights and noticed the breakfast room wasn't restocked regularly. It wasn't a big problem, but longer-stay guests may want to keep it in mind. All in all, a fantastic place to stay.
