Bankhead Croft B&B

The area is beautiful, some of the best I’ve seen. The cabins are well made and very comfortable, and the service is brilliant. They go out of their way to have everything ready when you arrive.

We had a great weekend visit in a lovely location. The B & B is well appointed, and Julie and David gave us a really friendly welcome. They’re working hard to build their business and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The owners are great, and we’d definitely visit again.

I travel for work every week, so I know a good hotel from a bad one. This is a really nice, peaceful place with lovely owners and good home-cooked food. I can’t fault it and will definitely return next time I’m up this way. I wish the star rating went up to 10.

On our second visit, Julie and Dave felt more like wonderful friends than strangers. Nothing is too much trouble, apart from perhaps getting the boiled egg just right! That saga carried on from last year, but it all came right in the end. We had so many laughs and will miss them. The new cabin looks great, and if things work out, we hope to stay in it next year. For a quiet, restful few days, we recommend Bankhead Croft 110%.
