The room was bright and roomy, and the staff happily arranged a camp bed for our son. Staying upstairs felt like being at home. We loved settling by the fire with board games, then having a delicious roast. Such a great pub for a weekend break or an overnight stop, with plenty of countryside walks nearby.

Taryn, you were amazing, and we'd come back just to have another chat with you. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and the staff kept at it until we were completely happy. The food was delicious, and our bedroom was stunning and incredibly comfortable. This has been a very sad year for us, so thank you all for making it a little brighter. Best hotel I've ever stayed in, by far.

In the middle of a peaceful village, this pub has spacious rooms, tasty food and a good range of drinks at the bar. The staff are so friendly that the pub's claim about them genuinely enjoying being nice feels like an understatement. Definitely recommend it.

It's a very quiet, quaint village, and the accommodation was really comfortable. Everyone was helpful and lovely. Special thanks to Kirsty, who went out of her way to help me get connected to the WiFi, even after her shift had ended. I'd definitely return.

I stayed at The George while visiting a relative in Barford St Michael. Our room was cosy, comfortable and spotless, with plenty of space in both the bedroom and bathroom. The shower was amazing, and the room opened straight onto the garden and patio. We had Sunday lunch when we arrived and a full English breakfast the next morning, and both meals were delicious. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. I'd highly recommend staying at The George.
