We especially liked having two family rooms, one where we could relax and another for the kids. High View House is a gorgeous, spacious Victorian house in the hills above Barmouth, with six bedrooms and a big kitchen that made it easy to cook for everyone. The hot tub was lovely after our days exploring the town and nearby area. We enjoyed beautiful views of both sea and mountains, and it’s a short walk down to the beach and town. Comfortable and relaxing, with everything set up well for a family holiday. We’d stay again.

The gardens gave us a peaceful spot to sit with a drink and enjoy the views, and we made plenty of use of the hot tub. We were nine adults, and the house had enough bedrooms for everyone to feel comfortable. Large windows brought in natural light and made the most of the scenery. It felt private, but was still an easy walk to town and the beach. There’s also a track behind the house leading into a beautiful walk through the hills. A fantastic place for a group getaway.

The host made a real difference to our stay. Communication was thoughtful and easy the whole way through, and we felt looked after without being intruded on. High View House was bright, spacious and full of lovely details that made us feel at home. It had everything we needed, from very comfortable beds and inviting spaces to relax together to a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking feel like a treat. Waking up to those breathtaking views was a highlight, and the house had a peaceful, comfortable feel throughout. We’re already looking forward to returning. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

A great place for a large family or several families to stay together. The property is amazing, with a great view. I especially liked the hot tub, spacious outdoor seating area and the stunning view from the bedroom. Highly recommend it.

The location is amazing and the place is beautiful and very clean. The host was great, too. I found it a bit cold, though, and the small electric heaters couldn’t warm the house up. I slept on the sofa bed, and the fridge was very loud.
