The Hill Cottage

Sue and Alan are natural B&B hosts, warm and wonderful at what they do. The double room is small but very comfortable, with lovely views of the hills, and breakfast was great. The guesthouse is in a lovely village, just minutes from some very nice cafes and pubs. We loved our stay and hope to return.

We stay in plenty of hotels and B&Bs, and this little place is honestly among the best. Breakfast was amazing, with clearly good-quality produce cooked beautifully. The room and bathroom were spotless, with crisp white linen and soft, fluffy towels. The room was lovely too, thoughtfully planned and tastefully furnished and decorated. We only stayed one night, but will definitely be back. The three hosts were friendly and welcoming while staying professional, and the service was great. Wilf was especially delightful. You can tell how much the hosts care about the place, their guests, and the experience they give them. We couldn't fault it. Thank you.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Hill B&B. The annexe we stayed in was lovely, and I'd highly recommend it, though it's limited, so call ahead to check it's available. The location was perfect, parking was easy, the price very reasonable, and breakfast was lovely.

Breakfast was superb and so relaxing, and they catered for my very awkward dairy-free, gluten-free diet. The Hill was spotless and felt just like home. It's quiet and right in the middle of town, in a wonderful village and area. I absolutely loved my stay.
