We had a great family getaway here. The hosts were really friendly, and the bathrooms were very clean. The beds were so comfortable, and the place had everything we needed, including little things we wouldn't have thought to bring. It felt almost like a luxury hotel out in the wilderness. We spotted wild rabbits and a small deer. The showers were meant to be hot, though ours wasn't quite as warm as expected and we didn't realise it should have been hotter.
The children had acres of safe space to roam and loved the hot tub. Our safari tent was both clean and comfortable, making this a blissful place to stay. We hope to come back.
The peaceful, beautiful setting made for a really relaxing stay at Hidden Meadows. The kids were thrilled to have hens beside our tent, and collecting eggs was a treat. Lynne worked hard to make sure we had what we needed. Even in the cold weather, the log burner warmed the tent nicely in the mornings and evenings. I'm sure you won't be disappointed, and we'd definitely recommend it.
We hired the whole site for a hen do, and it was just right. The party tent gave us a handy shared space, while the other tents were well equipped and had very comfortable beds. The setting was lovely too. Lynne and Ian were welcoming hosts and quickly came by whenever we needed something.
The secluded campsite was a lovely spot for my friend's hen party weekend. The huts were nice, the beds really comfortable, and Lynne & Ian were incredibly accommodating hosts. They shared local recommendations and a list of activities run by people who can come to the meadow. There were chickens too, and they laid eggs for our Sunday breakfast. I'd strongly recommend it for a getaway with friends or family.
