Breakfast was fresh and homemade, and the staff who made it were so friendly. The room was just as described, and for what it cost, I don't think you could find better. Getting into the house and room was easy, and the team kept in touch really well after I booked. I stayed in May'25 and had a great time. Thanks, Holcombe Guest House, you were great.

Very clean, with friendly staff and excellent accommodation. The service was five star. I'd happily recommend it and will book again when I'm back next year.

The breakfast was great, and the staff made me feel welcome. My room was clean, tidy and had everything I needed. The location worked well for me, with Brigg only a short drive away. Takeout choices are limited, though there are a couple in the village and a decent-sized coop if you don't want to drive to Brigg or farther for food. I'd definitely stay again.

I spent the last six months here for work and always felt comfortable and welcome. The bedrooms were really good, cleaned every day, and the bathrooms were clean too. I also ate here, and the meals were very good and well cooked. I have no complaints. If I have to travel back this way, I'll definitely stay here again.

The breakfasts were a treat, nicely presented and with lots of options. My friend and I both had a very pleasant stay, and we'd recommend rooms 6 and 7. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. The young ladies were happy to help with anything we needed, including finding another TV controller after I accidentally knocked coffee over it late one night. I hope it was only temporarily damaged!
