The staff were so friendly and attentive that we felt well looked after, even without a bar or swimming pool on site. Our caravan was spotless, roomy, cosy but modern, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The heating was already on when we arrived, and the three bags of Halloween sweets for our kids were such a thoughtful surprise. We had a wonderful family stay and can’t wait to return.
The team made a sweet gesture for my daughter’s birthday. I’d mentioned it when they called to confirm our holiday, and there was a card and gift waiting when we arrived. The caravan was spacious and clean, probably the best we’ve stayed in, and the location was handy for getting out to places. We loved our time here.

We spent four nights here and leaving actually made me tear up. It was the most restful, stress-free holiday I’ve had in ages. Tarka Holiday Park is a real gem if you want peace and a break from having to spend constantly. There’s no entertainment on site, which suited us perfectly. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough, and we’ll definitely be back before too long. Our static van was immaculate, fresh and airy, with nothing out of place. It was pet-friendly, but I couldn’t find a stray hair or mark. The beds were super comfortable and all had fresh, clean linen. The staff were welcoming, attentive and brilliant, especially Micheala and one gentleman whose name I’m sorry I forgot. The park team kept everything in great shape too. There’s a small play area for little children, a well-kept dog paddock and laundry on site. It’s well placed for supermarkets and shops, less than 3-4 miles up the road, and there are plenty of food options nearby, including Taco Bell. Saunton Sands is about five miles away, with a wide sandy beach, an eatery and a surf training school. It’s also convenient for the other beaches and bays, with views of Westward Ho bay.
The kids and our puppy loved the treats left for them, and that thoughtful touch helped make this one of the girls’ best holidays ever. We even won their dog photo competition and got a very generous gift box. The staff were unbelievably welcoming, and there was something for all three girls and the pup. The park was clean and spacious, with the dog park right next door, both easy to see from our spotless, good-quality caravan. We had the best break at Tarka and would definitely come back.
