Middle Dean Farmhouse

A lovely quiet area, with plenty of nearby outings: the stables, Combe Martin Wildlife Park and Woody Bay railway, plus beaches and walks. The house itself is a beautiful building and worked well for a relaxed family get-together. There was lots of room for the kids, who also loved the hot tub, and the kitchen and dining space were great. The facilities were good and everything worked.

We were 16 people, four families with young kids, and there was plenty of space in the clean accommodation. Just watch your head if you're very tall, as it's an old farmhouse! The enclosed garden felt safe for the children, and they also enjoyed the hot tub. There are walks nearby, and the location is handy for local towns and activities. Our host was very pleasant and came by to check that all was going well. We had a great family holiday and would recommend it highly.

It was such a lovely spot for a relaxing break, with lots of places to explore nearby. We enjoyed Heddon Valley and Watersmeet, among other places. I stayed with my boyfriend and his family recently and couldn't rate the place highly enough. I'd absolutely recommend it.

I wasn't happy with how clean the rooms were, and the sofas in the living room were dusty. The place looks like an old-age house. The prices are quite high, and at that rate I think you could get a luxurious house. 👎👎👎
